I was able to spend Saturday (ALL DAY SATURDAY!) going over my recent purchase, '58 Farmall 340. I found the tach cable broken about 3 inches from where it goes into the engine. There is a small housing with three screws that the front end of the cable goes into. If I take those screws out can I easily change cable or am I'm going to find a nightmare of "next step" and "next step" stuff? Also, I found a "u-joint" or "knuckle" on the front of the steering shaft busted causing my steering to catch now and then. Will that be an easy fix or not? Thanks for your help.
