Super M conversion

A friend of mine who is a John Deere fan has a Super H and a Super M that his Dad bought new. He has them all fixed up and restored, never uses them as they were his Dad's. He claims that IH offered an update package to convert the Super M's into Super MTA's at one time and his Dad almost did this to his Super M but bought a 3010 Deere instead. Anyone ever hear of this kit? That was the beginning of their Deere loyalty. Too bad. At least he treasures the Super H and M.

It was powered by either a high-compression gas engine or a distillate version with lower compression.
