I have a dozen or so small Farmalls, A's & such. The electric start ones with mags misbehave and though I know why, I'm unsure as to how to cure it. The starter turns the motor quick enough to overcome the impulse mechanism. As a result the spark gets there early, the resulting pre-ignition stops the starter instantly. It's not a big thing but I need an education.
