Weve got dad's old 100 in the shop this winter need a going over. Mainly oil leaks , new paint job and some new wiring. First the rear final drives. The bigest leak is the fertilizer drive sprocket on the left rear side. But we may as well repack the hole drive on both sides. ??? Can we redo them when there still mounted to the tractor or like the combine must they be remove to do a proper rebuilt??? Second big leak, the front steering box does it have to be removed to do a good repacked on it or can it be rebuild still when still mounted on the tractor. This old girl only see's lite duty these days cultivating and sidresing the garden or the odd time runs the PTO on a grain auger or elevator. But like our old "H" its one of the few tractor we have that dad bought new in the early to mid fifties and a few more hours or dolllars is not a proplem. Me and my brothers would just like to fix the old girl up right. Thanks for any help in advance
