Remember guys, it's not the colour of the tractor, it depends more on the tires and the experience of the driver. Which reminds me of the time I decided to challenge the swamp frogs with a 4430 and a JD no till drill with the dolly wheel hitch. The frogs won. Strange thing happens, the dolly wheels fill up with mud, pulling harder, and if that wasn't enough the tractor had no drawbar weight, so she just dug for china. All the hp in the world wouldn't have done any good at all. A 4255 and a 25ft grade 70 chain did though.... Then there was the time I headed out across a deep tilled field that was just a little bit wet with the open station 4230 with the IH 2350 loader on it, and 18.4-38's. Stupid idea, especially running WOT in 7th! I had to dig down 6 inches to find the drawbar when the 4430 showed up. If you've never got stuck, you havn't taken enough chances!! BTW John, that's pretty good to pull a boat anchor like a 5020 out of the mud with a 400!!

Flax provided the fibre which w
