I remember the fall of '73 quite well. We had our 815 equipped with 66by43.00-25 terra tires like the Big A had. Also had 24 inch wide tires on the steering axle(not fwd). We got it stuck many times. The Big A we had at the time was the only thing that would get close to the combine when it got stuck. Once we had the 815 stuck, the Big A stuck behind it facing the opposite direction, and the 1256 with about 50 ft of 1 inch cable stuck ahead of the Big A. We bought 200 ft of 1 inch cable with hooks and pulled each one of the muddy line of machines out with a 706 gas that was on solid ground. Never will forget that nor will any of the neighbors that drove by chuckling.
