I have not had time to start the tractor again since running it back into the shop. I am pleased to be almost totally done the paint, which was a big job. So alot of pressure is off. As far as the rpm problem, it could very well be that the spring that SHOULD pull engine back to idle may have fallen off inside the governor. I do remember there was alot of play in it. I have a copt of an I & T Manual which shows the governor and gives a bit on the adjustment. Page 42 & 43. Paragraphs 155,156, and I seem to be missing 157. I was also very happy to get those pics up. A picture is worth a thousand words for sure !
