CK: I have a couple believed to be original from late 1940's. They have "BALL" in large SCRIPT. Below that is "Perfect Mason" in smaller PRINT. There are no other words such as pints or ounces. or any measuring marks. There are no images of fruit or whateven was often stored in jars. There are also 6 vertical ridges evenly spaced around the jar (except over the mentioned words "Ball"). These ridges aid one in unscrewing the jar. As stated, I believe these to be original.. Ralph.. Ps: every once in a while there are little green JDeere bugs caught by these jars so they are well worth having as a precleaner..
