Glenn: You will find the brake bands are less expensive. The Super A has the rod coming to the clevis at the brake pedal that is part of the brake band itself. The 100,130,etc, the band just goes around the drum and both ends hook to a hinged device about 2.5 inches long. It is hinged by a dowell that fits between the two castings as you put the final drive on. This device gives you more mechanical advantage when you step on brake pedal. I have had two Super A's and two 130's. Ocasionally that hinged device will break and if not attended to will score the brake drum. This can fool you sometimes, if your bands are in bad shape, it will give you as much brakeing power as you had with poor bands. Watch that one if you have to buy drum, it wont be cheaper. Hugh
