When I took my 460 in for a dyno test it whistled under load and hot. They said it does that when the gasket is shot. Well our 544u had done that for several years so dad sent it over and the manafold was warped too. Once fixed its like a whold difrent tractor, much better torque at low rpms, less choke needed and better cold starting. Seems to be a good motor once you find out how to keep it happy.
