Joe,I have done much the same thing on my H,I used a 78 cheve truck dome light and wired it in the light switch.On my H I have a heater housing and it puts the lights outside the enclosing which at night makes it imposible to see the lift-all lever.One thing I like about the dome light is it has the cover over the bulb and has no glare and lights up the whole cabin area,plus it protects the bulb.I don,t think the farmall gods will write us up for making things a little easier and safer. AAHH!! Will
