According to Guy Fay's book #50 Harvester Red should be used on the earlier letter series tractors like your '39 A. I believe the PPG# for this red is 70019. I bought some of the 2150 for my H and didn't like it - looked yellowish. It had too much of an orange tint for me. Fortunately, I am painting as I go and had only sprayed a few parts when I decided to switch.
