i recently herd that there was a new line of mccormick tractors being offered, checked them out and they dont look half bad. wouldnt it be great if someone purchased the title to IH and began producing tractors and parts under that name again? i think it would really boost that companys total sales. and also case IH would make a fortune if the carried all of the used parts instead of the ones the felt like. i recently bought an aftermarket manifold for an h and had to redrill one hole on it so it would fit. i know it would cost money but hey id rather spend a few more bucks and get a part that accually fit my tractor.i also herd that case was purchased by fiat. is this true, and will it further affect the survice? theres so many companys under that name how do they even know whose running them all? i like dealing with my local dealer but i think some changes need to be made. and how can the call them case genuine parts when they dont even make half of them? i think in years to come the agricultural world is going to undergo a major revolution and i feel its not going to be for the better. yes technology has made us the super power we are today, but with out our small "family" farms we would be nothing. the era of computers is slowly tightining the noose around americas small farms and its not giving any slack. us famrers are being taken for granted. just venting, derek
