In my neck of the woods, there was an old man.....low 90's in age, who had a hook hand on his right hand. He couldn't start it by hand, so he kept a large belt in the shed...He had a large collection of old 2-bangers that just sat there and rusted...true collector eh? Anyway, once or twice a year, he would go and fire up each one of his tractors...I bet he had 20 old 2 bangers, and all of them going at once was a nice sound. He never changed the fuel in them, never covered them with anything....they were bare, in a pasture, some of them with little wheels or tires left on them, but most in running condition. He died this year, his old 2 bangers went up for auction with the highest selling one being a 1926 JD D...a real classis....ran and everything, someone stole it for 3200...You couldn't have given it to me... But one of my students bought a factory wide front one owner Farmall M that the old boy used to crank up those Johnny's. Just my little piece of history....Shoot, I'm just a youngan, Boy the stories that I have though....Sorry to ramble... my 2cents
