Denny, You must have the same opinion of those old Deeres that I do. I was raised on them...a GP, A, and an H. I never did make sense out of how to get them to start, but I did know...if they don't start on the 4th pull, it will take 400. Geeze, I hated those things! When the farm was sold and the equipment sold off in 1967, we couldn't get the JD H to run, after trying for quite a while. We decided to sell it ron-running, but allowed my kids to mess with it. The oldest were 9 and 11. They got it running. The JD H, JD A, and a Farmall Super A brought a total of less than $500. Sigh! George Willer
