yes the gear does not move might have to make a puller I should have used 1/2 thread rod or samothing like that I used 3/8 figuring that would be a piece of cake but my hy jack didnt move it at all got mad and cut it off as i had another drum next time will use heaver rod and try again just finished a rear on an A and got lucky on both sides probably have had at least 6 rears apart in last 3yrs only had trouble with on drum usually seals leak and the oil helps get the loose i guess all but the one bast good luck
