Dad and I were debating whether to fix our Super MTA or to sell it and buy something more modern. It will cost at most about $1000 to get it all fixed up (new TA, new front tires, power steering, different hydralic setup, etc.) I had it on the ytmag auction and it got up to $2550. The implement dealer has a 560 gas that is dented up and they want $5000 for it, they also have a 656 diesel on the lot and they want $7500 for that one! It is impossible to replace the Super MTA with a better tractor for less than double what we will get out of it. AND, have you checked prices on something that was actually built in the 90's?? Around $15,000 for a worn out one!! And brand new 60hp tractor?? You're looking at $50,000! I think the parts for these things are well within reason and easy to come by. If you have an H or an M you can find everything you need in a junkyard or at your CaseIH dealer. Steven
