Ace: I stand corrected, just spoke with a friend who has the 666 I mentioned. I didn't realize there were two engines that close in size. My last new tractor was a 1066 and I havn't kept in close touch since. I have heard people discussing 310, 312 and assumed they were talking about same engine. Have I got it right 310 is a German engine 312 is American and same applies to 358 and 360. I know the 360 is American. Sounds like the same scam as Chev 20 series pickup. In the mid seventies all three u-joints on drive shaft were the same. The last new one I looked at had three different u-joints. Oh for the efficiency of modern tecnology.
