Well, I'm not a pro like the Tractor Vet. But, I've been fooling with tractors since I was a kid on the farm in the 50s. Since I retired 3 years ago from 35 years as an engineer for a big chemical company, I've gotten into it a little more seriously. As to the pulley seal. I have a C and a C parts manual, not a Super C. However, I expect the belt pulley is the same. To replace the shaft seal on the belt pulley, you just have to take the spacer off the shaft, and then take out the three bolts that secure the seal holder in place. Then slide off the seal holder(be careful not to pull the shaft out) and pop out the seal and press in the new one. It would be good if you had a new gasket to go under the seal holder when you put it back. If you are talking about the PTO shaft seal, that is a little more complicated because the seal is pressed into the housing itself and you will have to either take the whole thing apart, or figure out how to get the seal out with the shaft still inside it. That may not be so easy if it still has the original seal which is about 1 1/2 inches thick or so.
