If you split to fix the clutch, you will do it behind the engine, not at the transmission where I split the C. There is not a good way to block up the engine half, so what I have done on that is to block the rear part under the bell housing and then use an engine lift (shop crane) attached to the back end of the engine and then rolled the front part forward. Be sure to block the front axle so the thing can't rock side to side.
