Did all of that. I also took a closer look at the carb and found that it's probably totally inoperable. I have removed it and will rebuild it.
I still thought I would get some type of response from the starting fluid in the cylendars. With the carb removed I also sprayed some starting fluid into the intake with no response when cranking.
