I have a DeVilbliss FinishLine series gun and couldn't be happier with it - Paid about $175 (including a professional cleaning kit) and it is really worth its weight in gold. Be Certain to go with the HVLP line instead of the standard, as the paint atomization is second to none. I can spray a tractor/street rod in my shop and not have to worry about drop-clothing everything in sight, as the HVLP unit is so easy to control with only 7-12 psi at the aircap. Handles all enamels, lacquers and clears without a problem. You WILL use the gun for several other 'smaller' projects if it works well and does a nice job - therefore spend a little more to get a lot more when you make your purchase. As for paint, you can spend the bigger money for PPG's professional line paints, but I've found out that PPG's Omni series is high quality without the cost (Mainly a warranty difference, older professional PPG blend). Make a nice epoxy primer as well, although it isn't a filler/epoxy like DP 40. Good luck
