TOG: ONE casting code for a C\SC is under your left foot when it's touching the clutch pedal. Casting codes are a solid way to ID.. Disk brakes are a great way to tell too. Radiators can be switched so that's possible to mislead. There are several other ways but not solid proof such as foot pedals are straight on a C and bent back at point of contact on rearend top deck on a SC. R.
