This week I have had off, so I finally broke down and started doing the last step,(and the most dreaded for me), giving the old 450 a paint job. I really don't care for doing "bodywork", so I just steam cleaned the old girl, then took a wire brush to the scale that was left. I am going to have a buddy (that knows what he is doing) paint the sheetmetal, and I am using the rattlecan on the rest. I have been using the rust-oleum,IH red paint...I LOVE IT! This paint is simply awesome, it LOOKS like I knew what I was doing. If anyone else is considering giving their beut a paint job, I suggest RUST-OLEUM.
