I've got a 41 also, but can't find the serial number yet. It has lots of J's and K's on component part plates. Your should have either J's and K's, or just K's on the part plates. J means 1040 and K means 1941. p.s. - if your has a distributor that points up, it is a conversion from a magneto and has a Delco Remy distributor and your points will not be IH points for the H, but rather a solid assembly.
