Farmall C Questions

I am currently restoring a 1950 Farmall C. It has a wide front end. I was wondering what type of seat it originally had. I have seen some all metal, some all red, some all white, and some half white half red. Was it all metal or did it have a little cusion? Also I am having trouble locating parts on the steering. The rods run infront of the axle and the balls that connect below the radiator are wore out as is the peice it connects into. Sorry it is not more specific. Where could I locate these parts? Any help on this would be great. Happy New Years
