How you can tell for sure if it is an M-TA, see if it has live PTO on it like the 400's, 450's. If it does then it is more then likely an M-TA. If it doesn't, I also have heard that an M-TA could be ordered from the factory with the old style non-live PTO on it, just like a regular SM.

Also is the emblem round like the regular SM, if it is also, you have a M-TA without the optional T/A.
