Interesting you should ask that. I was putting new shoes on mine yesterday. It is necessary to buy the linings and rivets then remove and replace the old ones. I bought the linings and rivets from Rice Equipment. 814-226-9200. By the way, they sell the oil seals that go in there too. Mine were full of transmission oil that had leaked out over the years.
