Long discussion on this Jan 3 under "Tractor Talk", Jan 3. General consensus was that additives were not necessary. The thing that started the topic was an article in this issue of 9N-2N-8N Newsletter saying that the whole issue may have been a deception. Several very good points made. One was to the effect that some of these tractors were made before lead was put into gasoline, so obviously were made to run without it. Most agreed that if you have any concern, install modern harden valve seats when you ever have to rebuild the motor.
