Bill, It stands to reason that the flagship store is a bit more on the ball than the satellite stores. And I'm not just talking about tractor parts. RJ12YC Champion spark plugs are a common item, and I needed a set a while back. F&F had two plugs on the shelf for a long time. Who needs two plugs, when you have an eight cylinder truck? Either their inventory and re-odering system is not up to snuff, or somebody is asleep at the wheel. I personally feel they want to deal only in stuff that sells quickly and prefer not to be hassled by anyone wanting anything now considered unusual, ie; a muffler for a Massey Harris 44, or tune up kit for a JD G, or a manifold gasket for an AC B, etc, etc. The people working there for the most part are city kids with little or no farm knowledge.
