What brand of Batt? I have gone through enough die hards to fill a land fill. The last ones I bought cost about $90 and lasted about 1/2 what they said.Sure they pro rate them out but you still loose big time not to mention the head ache of getting stranded somewhere. Once you buy one you are almost stuck with staying with that brand to get any warenty out of them. Put and Interstate in my wife's 91 Lumina and it's still going strong. I have two 12 volt Farmalls and one 6. They all work well. I like the 12 volt for cold weather and brighter lights but I think it's more about what your going to be happy with. A well maintained 6 volt seems to do pretty well. I don't think you can go wrong if you go either way, as long as your pleased with it.
