My recently aqquired 330U has a noise in the rear axle. It sounds as if it is comeing from the left axle housing. It is a random clunk, sort of like a loose tirechain that doesn't hit every time around. I can only hear it in high gear. I suspect it may be a bearing problem, the axle seal leaks pretty bad on that side as well. Can you get at the inner end of the axle through the PTO opening, like you can on an M, or will I have to take the top of the transmission off? The tractor is stored for the winter, it's going to be a "before haying" project in the spring.
