I feel for ya. It can be adventurous going inside an engine. My SuperC was my first such venture since I tore down an old Ford 390 in the pickup I had when I was a kid. Nothing as bad as what you're describing (and not), but there were a couple of breathtaking moments as the project went along. If you crank is truly bunged up, check with the shop that turned it down to 30 under. They may have the capacity to build (weld) it up and turn it back down. If not, they will likely know of a shop that does. Where are you?
