Super C tool/battery box

did the Super C have a tool box and if so where was it located? The battery box that is on the tractor now must be unbolted and removed with the battery inside to get the battery out. Is there something I am missing here. Is that the box that came with the tractor. Is there another type available, one that allowas the battery to slide out the side??
