Saginaw 3pt quesions....Super C

Just got my hitch today, and got it mounted up on the Super C. I have a couple of questions. What size hydraulic hose did you all use? From the valve mounted up on the light bracket, how did you route the hoses to the cylinder? On top of the deck, or did you run them somehow underneath?
