Lordy! and I thought I had my hands full just undoing all the cotter-pin-to-nail conversions. It's amazing what's been done to some of these machines over the years, but I always withold judgment--I haven't had to make a living with my machines. I expect with the thin checkbook of most small farmers over the years, they fixed 'em with the parts they had or could work a deal on. I'm gonna buils barn with my salvage nails.
