I recently aquired a pair of rear Steel Wheels for a Farmall H. They have the large heavy cast centers and 4 inch spikes held on by two Square head bolts. They are scary looking wheels, to say the least. I heard there is such a thing as road bands for the wheels. They fit over the lugs to enable the driver to drive on pavement or dirt roads without blasting the roads apart. Does anybody out there know what I am talking about? Any info would be most appreciated. I wam thinking on talking to a metalsmith on making a pair if I cannot find them. I would like to drive the tractor with the back and front steel wheels on but do not want to destroy the road. I can remove the front turning rims on my front steel wheels but do not want to pull off 56 lugs. Any info out there? Thanks, Scott
