The MV was the high clearance version of the M. It had drop housings on the rear axle which were chain drive and gave additional clearence under the rear axle. It also had a high clearence wide front axle. Cultivating clearance of the M was 23 1/4" which was the rear axle over the rows. On the high clear MV cultivating clearance was 29 7/8" over the rows on the front axle. It was even higher over the rear axle but that demension is not listed. In the South it was used primarily in sugar cane fields where the additional clearance was needed.
