I spend the better part of the week slaving over a hot desk right here in the cradle of agriculture, the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Weekends, odd evenings, and whatever other time I can steal, I spend on our place (40 acres) tucked away in the Catskills (Ulster County). Started tinkering when I was a kid -- only way to keep my old cars running. Rebuilt a SuperC last summer and just a couple of weeks ago, I found and bought back the old family BN. Learned a lot of what I know about mechanicking helping my grandfather work on that tractor and his H and 400. Weather permittin', I'll be hauling it back from Ohio late next week. Another summer's project!
