Chains on your front wheels of that tractor will do no good. Years ago in the center village near where I live there was an elderly gent with a Farmall Super A that did most of the drivway plowing in village. This was in the days before 4x4 pickup and 4x4 tractor snow plowing. I along with most other people were amazed at how much snow that little tractor could push, and could push with blade angled. A few miles out of village on the farm we had a Super A but also had a 300 and naturally that is what we used to plow snow. That Super A would make a 300 look bad especially at staying straight while plowing with blade angled. Now that I am out of farming I plow snow with a Farmall 130, and find I hardly ever use brake to keep straight. In fact just this afternoon I was plowing snow to the right and haveng to use the left brake as I have an ice build up in the center of my driveway. This tractor had ring ice chains when I bought it. I sold them because they were rough, hard on concrete floor and quite frankly I was afraid of breaking final drives. I now use standard cross chains.

It was an Allis-Chalmers tractor dealership,
