If you are sure that the person who does the blasting knows what they are doing, go ahead. If not, dont do it. Was at the dealer the other day and he was telling me about a M that was sandblasted and painted. They are doing the overhaul on it right now. They got about 2 quarts of sand out of it so far....LOL IH-2150 Red will be just fine for the motor. Use hi-temp for the manifold if you want, but not needed for motor.
