I'm glad to see some postings on I-240 Util. I bought one a few months ago and really like it. My only problem is looseness in the steering gear box. I have to use foot brakes to make sharp turns and get out of corners. I have not torn the gear box down, but called an IH dealer and described the problem. They wanted $500. (yes, $500.) for a new worm gear, which they figured it needed. I only paid $2300. for the tractor. Is the tractor that scarce/--I hope not. Are there any places in N-Texas area that part-out 240 stuff? Please E-mail me. I'd also like to E-Mail somebody a picture of my hitch-setup and see what it is. It looks like a quick-hitch rig. I hope to hear from someone right away. Thanks jnmbaber@peoplescom.net
