redrev: My father inlaw was a WWII vet and a real IHC Man We used to talk alot about the old red horses, He Bought a new H and M after the war with his G.I. money Had to wait in line for them, In 42 they could not get one due to IHC Chicago plant and steel mill off of 130th street? building and supplying war efforts, Production was slowed but still made! Tractors were rationed Much like gas, You had to know some one to get one, and it was a state, county, dealer supply, He was lucky His father was a big man in centeral Ind and was able to get a new 44M in april of 44' We had it till 1970 , The F-20, and 30s, carried the load during the war. One thing you need to remember is back in 39 thur Korea IHC dealers were in almost every town in the US , so Hs & Ms were vast numbers over all. As for additional value I Have Found alot of older collector looking hard at War Year tractors, due to the fact that they had roots to the farm at that time and IHC company helped see their way through tough times, to a brighter future!

I’m par
