Your comment about someone saying it's the wrong color is right on! I probably shouldn't be on this board, but my best friend helped me restore a '41 John Deere. We had lots of discussions about whether the fan should be painted yellow or not (I went with green).

The first time I took it to a show I had to be away from the tractor for a while. When I came back, there was a sign hung on it saying, "I still think the fan should be the other color". It wouldn't have mattered - that sign would have appeared.

I do enjoy your board, folks - that JD board gets a little nasty sometimes.
