1932 W400s were built in 1956. There were a total of 1118 W400 Diesels built over the three-year production run. Since the serial numbers for the diesels were mixed in with the gas versions, it's hard to say how many diesels were built in 1956. As for a book, Guy Fay's IH tractor data book is as good as they come. Punch this link:
