Ah, the infamous "C113 crack". Seems like about half the A's and B's have that crack. The good news is that it doesn't appreciably weaken the block, and there is no pressure in the cooling system, so you should get pretty good life out of just cleaning out the old JB Weld and re-gooping it with new JB Weld. If you don't feel comfortable doing that, you can get it brazed or welded or stitched, and that should last forever.
