I wouldn't say that I'm in 'The Know', but I am in the process of building the same type of setup. Several recommendations from people on the board(Both the Farmall & Tractor Pulling sites) have steered me to the '450' LH Thread gasoline cam. I picked one up for $100 & have to decide whether to send it out for a light regrind or install it straight-up, with resurfaced lifters....Good luck
