You need several pieces for this. First the stone and a dresser at the correct angle to dress the face of the stone. You need a holder for the stone. Then you need the pilot for the valve guide that holds the stone on center. It is a simple job with the equipment. It also looks simple, and it is easy to do with practice. However the equipment is precision with tolerances to less than .001 inch. It's not like grinding on a chunk of iron. Once you have the seat done, what are you going to do to true the valves? That is a whole new machine. How about a cutter to get the seat at the correct width? You asked a very good question, but this is precision machine work. All is not lost however. For a quick, temporaty job you may bet some valve lapping compound and a stick with suction cups on the end for about $10.00 total and lap the valves in, again temporary. I do this on small engines, but on my tractor, I would go to a machine shop. Sorry about the long post. Any other questions, please ask. Doc.
