I would think the SMTA would be more than adequate. I can remember in early fifties farmers with 15 to 25 cow dairy herds, 60 to 100 acres land, (15-20 in grain) loose hay with hay loader. They would do all their farming with a Super A or Super C and a horse. I remember in the seventies a farm nearby 65 cow herd, flat land. They used 3 Massey 135 diesels and team of horses. Today his sons have 4 60 to 100 hp tractors. The old man still has the horses. He tells me he cant understand the need, there is not a hill on farm and 135 was a good little tractor if it didn't have to pull anything up hill.
