I have a non-original p/s unit on my 300 Utility and I've been told a 460 Utility unit will work, so I think that might be what I have. Is the steering hard at all RPM or just when idling? The 300U has a priority valve that sends flow first to the steering and then to the rest of the hydraulics. If the 460 has the same thing, your priority valve, probably called a flow control valve, might be sticking or faulty.
